A jumbo loan of ¥677bn (US$4.2bn) has been raised for the development of Japan’s first integrated resort located in Osaka. The project, awarded to MGM Resorts International and Orix Corp in 2023, will be built in Yumeshina, a landfill in Osaka Bay in Japan.
The scheme is expected to cost ¥1.27trn (US$7.86bn), up from an earlier estimate of ¥1.08trn.
